Associate Head Coach Messiah University

Aaron Faro is in his 15th season on the coaching staff with the Messiah University men’s soccer program, currently serving as the Associate Head Coach. A former standout on the soccer pitch for the Falcons, Faro founded, and directs Messiah’s AROMA sports ministry program.

My coaching philosophy is: I believe my purpose in coaching ought to align with my purpose in life, which is to glorify my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have a passion to be like Jesus and make disciples as he did. In my life, I have seen coaching to be an extremely effective way to do this. The relationships, community, and environment that are possible within a team create fertile soil for intentional discipleship. Alongside my players, I desire to pursue excellence, deep relationships, and eternal impact.
