
Dan Wood
National Christian College Athletic Association President
Dan Wood has served as the Executive Director of the NCCAA since January of 2000. With over 40 years in higher education, he has been a coach, faculty member, and athletic administrator at Limestone University, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and Indiana Wesleyan University. A 1982 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University, he was a 4 year lettermen in golf and soccer. Wood has been inducted into the Southern Wesleyan University (Student-Athlete, 2008) and Oklahoma Wesleyan University (Coach/Athletic Director, 2005) Halls of Fame.
Speaking at member schools, churches, and civic organizations, Wood focuses on the NCCAA Game Plan 4 LIFE (GP4L) program centering on Love, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence. He has written for a variety of publications on subjects ranging from student-athlete recruitment to population diversity in faith-based institutions. A cancer survivor, he sees everyday as a gift that is to be shared with others. He and his wife, Kelly, of 39 years have two children, Courtney (Dustin) and Grant (Chelsey), and are awaiting their first grandchild in August.
