Daka is known as a player developer and an excellent tactical coach and teacher. He has helped develop hundreds of players that have gone on to play at very high levels including college and the professional ranks. He has coached at many levels and is now with Charlotte FC’s academy.

I coach, first because I love the game. Grew up on it and lived off it. But secondly and most importantly I coach because I believe in developing the next generation of football people who will serve the game in various ways. It is important to me that development is holistic while meeting each player where they are and traveling their journey alongside them.

I believe each individual is unique and feels the game in their unique way. Each individual has his path and my job is to help them navigate through their journey. That’s why it is important for me, at these young age groups, to focus on developing the player within the team setting.
